After the operation, the person is kept under observation for one night and taken under the supervision of a doctor. The next day, your doctor will start the discharge procedures if there are no problems. In this context, the entire process is completed within two days.

How is vaginal aesthetic surgery performed?

Vaginoplasty surgery is performed by a specialist gynecologist or urogynecologist and includes the following steps:

• Anesthesia: The surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia (numbing only the surgery area) or general anesthesia (putting the patient to sleep). Anesthesia ensures that the surgery is painless and comfortable.
• Incisions: In vaginoplasty surgery, incisions are made in the area between the vaginal lips (labium majus and labium minus) or near the entrance of the vagina, where stitches will be placed on the vaginal walls. Depending on the situation required, tissue can be removed by laser vaginal tightening.
• Removal and correction of tissues: If there is loose or excess tissue on the vaginal walls, these tissues are removed. It is then corrected with stitches to tighten the vaginal walls and muscles.
• Stitches: The stitches used during vaginoplasty are dissolvable and do not need to be removed afterwards. Stitches are placed carefully to tighten the vaginal tissue and allow it to heal properly.
• Healing process: During the post-operative recovery process, the patient must keep the surgical area clean and dry and follow the instructions recommended by the doctor. In the postoperative period, physical activities may be restricted and sexual intercourse may need to be avoided for a while. The recovery process varies depending on the person's body structure and the complexity of the surgery.
